Toilet Bowl 2010 - Saturday, September 18th

This year's edition of the annual Toilet Bowl Tournament will take place on September 18th starting at 9 a.m. It will be held at the Team Gushue Sports Complex on Smallwood Drive in Mount Pearl. Registration fees are $15 for NLUA members and $20 for non-members. The format will be 5 on 5, with a 3-2 guy to girl ratio. Everyone is welcome, but registration will be first come first serve, and will be limited.

If you signed up for the July 31st event, please email treasurer@nlua.ca and indicate whether you would like to keep your registration in place for September or if you would prefer an immediate refund.

End of Summer Youth Ultimate Fun Day!!!

This year our NLUA youth summer outreach included a youth pick-up league as well as a series of several youth clinics at various youth programs and camps throughout the City of St. John’s.

To celebrate the awesomeness of summer and youth ultimate, we are inviting any and all kids aged 12-19 with an interest in Ultimate to sign up for our End of Summer mini-tournament and barbeque which will take place on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at the Airport Heights field from 5:30 – 8:30 pm.

You will get a chance to play ultimate with the help of experienced NLUA ultimate Frisbee volunteers. There will be fun games, prizes and more! You do not have to be a previous participant in one of our programs to sign up, and in fact, even if this is your first Ultimate experience, you are more than welcome!

Please wear proper running shoes or cleats, comfortable athletic clothing and please bring a dark and light t-shirt.

Newfoundland Liberation Army to Compete at Nationals

In a surprise change of events, the Mens Ultimate Team from Newfoundland and Labrador a.k.a., the "Newfoundland Liberation Army", will now be heading directly to the Nationals, to be held in Sherbrooke, Quebec August 12-15 (thereabouts) to compete in the Mens Open Division.
